Commercial Gates

Commercial Gates

Fence gates are divided into two types, chain link swing gate, and chain link slide gate. Both of them share common characteristics of sufficient strength and durability but differ in application location.

Chain link fence gates are created for outsiders accessing and climbing prevention.

Cantilever Slide Gates:

Eliminate the requirement for ground tracks or overhead support rails and are installed using reliable nylon rollers. The gates are fully supported above ground and do not require a wheel of any type. Instead, these slide gates ‘cantilever’ to close the opening. Its durability also means added protection to your property.

When including a Cantilever slide gate in your project, be sure to allow the adequate length of fence or an open clear line on the outside of the counterbalance posts for the gate panel to slide into the fully open position.

Features:

Standard and custom sizes are available. Galvanized or powder coat finish. Custom welded frame using steel pipe. Wheel carriers work best on asphalt or concrete driveways. Barbed wire can be added where required.

Slide Gates:

A sliding gate includes built-in rollers designed to roll parallel along a rail system installed onto an existing line of fence and rests on a front rut runner. Extreme Fencing manufactures and professionally installs industrial-grade single and double sliding gates. The gate frames are constructed using the strength of steel pipe with welded corners and are offered in various sizes and infill options. Gates do not require a wide counterbalance like a Cantilever Gate. Should you plan to automate your gate in the future, please consider our Automated Gate options or a Cantilever Gate.

Functional requirements and site layout should always be considered before selecting your style of gate. Note that Gate “Opening Size” refers to the distance from the inside face to the inside face of the gate posts. Gate “Outside Measurement” refers to the dimension from the outside edge to the outside edge of the gate panel. The difference between the Opening Size and Outside Measurement is the tolerance required for the gate hinge and gate latch dimensions.

Swing Gates:

Extreme Fencing manufactures and professionally installs industrial-grade single and double swing gates. The gate frames are constructed using the strength of steel pipe with welded corners and are offered in various sizes and infill options. Our gate systems can accommodate up to a 20ft opening for a single swing and up to a 40ft opening for a double swing gate. We provide gate wheels, locking hardware, and options to add barbed wire if required. Panic hardware gates can replace your existing standard chain-link man gates for faster emergency exits and can be installed on any size of the steel post.

Panic Hardware:  Hardware can be added to most gate applications, the kit includes: a panic bar, mounting plate, adjustable receiver bracket, stainless steel screws and fasteners, and the keyed cylinder and lockbox. Additional options are available such as keypad entries, electric strikes, etc.

Barrier Gates: Another swing gate option – Barrier gates are an excellent, simple choice to restrict access to parking lots during off-hour periods. The gates can be locked with a chain. During business hours, posts mounted away from the gate with chain keep the swing gates open.
